Limited resources, Uncertain Product-market Fit.
I was brought onboard as the sole UX & Brand designer for Dutch, a Singapore start-up in pilot phase, to create an MVP for dorm students' expense management/payment needs.
Ship a MVP in Singpaore & Introduce a Brand Identity.
As the sole designer for Dutch, I established the brand attributes, did brand identity/logo design, and created hi-fi mockups for 2 product features: Split (bill sharing/organization) and Track (past records navigation) after user testing and validation.
A rocky race to getting funding and market adoption.
During the MVP development, the company received seed grants. However, due to local banks beginning to build similar functions, Dutch pivoted to a new business model.
